PC keyboard with internal PC/SC compatible Smartcard reader

The PC/SC standard (PC/SmartCard) was developed to ensure compatibility between smart cards, card reader/writers and computers produced by different manufacturers.
The PC/SC standard development was based on the current ISO 7816 standard for smartcard communications, and supports business-specific application standards such as EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) and GSM (Global Standard for Mobile Communication).

PC/SC includes

• Spezifications for cryptographic functionality and secure storage
• Programming interface for communication with smart card and reader device
• High-level application interface - to make it easier to build smart card applications

  Supports the following Smartcards:

• 2-wire protocol, SLE 4432/4442
• 3-wire protocol, SLE 4418/4428
• I²C-bus and Extended I²C-bus up to 32 kByte E²Prom
• Microprocessor Smartcards with T=0 or T=1 protocol

We can supply the internal Smartcard reader/writer with serial port or USB
